These terms set out how Newbank Surveyors Ltd provides its services. Full terms of engagement are issued with every quotation and confirmed before any inspection takes place.
Instructions
A survey is only booked once we have issued a written quotation and you have confirmed your instructions in writing. The scope of the inspection is set out in the terms of engagement for the level of survey you have chosen.
Fees and payment
Fees are quoted in advance and are based on the information provided about the property. If the property differs materially from that information, we will discuss any change in fee with you before proceeding.
Our reports
Reports are prepared for the client named in the terms of engagement and for the purpose stated. They should not be relied upon by any other party without our written consent.
Cancellation
You may cancel an instruction at any time before the inspection. Where we have already incurred costs, a reasonable charge may apply, which we will always explain to you first.
Complaints
If something has gone wrong, we would like the chance to put it right. Please see our complaints procedure.
